Affiliated Advisors Re-brands with a More Modern Approach to the Independent Broker-Dealer Experienc

February 06, 2023

Affiliated Advisors, a leading advisor service and support platform, announced today that the firm has undertaken a re-branding initiative to better reflect the growth and evolution of the company. As part of the new brand identity, a new logo, messaging and website have been developed to reflect Affiliated Advisors’ growing presence in the marketplace for solo advisors and emerging teams.

In just the last three-years, Affiliated Advisors has added 35 new advisors to the platform, increasing its totals to nearly 100, while also expanding its geographic footprint to become a national firm. Additionally, Affiliated Advisors has broadened its management team to onboard industry veterans as managing partners, Trisha Qualy and Tom Rippberger.

“Affiliated Advisors is a much different company today than when I started out over 30 years ago,” said Rita Robbins, President of Affiliated Advisors. “So much has changed in the industry and in how we support advisors’ businesses, that it is time to better communicate who we are, what Affiliated Advisors represents, and how we are helping our firms grow.”

Particularly as the independent broker-dealer industry is consolidating, many solo advisors and emerging teams are finding that their broker-dealer is losing the personal touch and their service-levels are declining. As a result, many advisors are now examining their options, looking for more customized and tailored solutions that best meet their needs.

Affiliated Advisors provides a comprehensive suite of business management, compliance, technology, marketing, financial planning, and fee-based products and services, along with direct access to service professionals, skilled in helping advisors streamline their everyday workflows. Additionally Affiliated Advisors is known for easy transitions, as well as succession planning resources and acquisition opportunities.

“One of the key benefits new advisors point to as why they joined us is not only our platform, culture and diversity,” said Qualy, “But also to gain access to our vibrant community of like-minded advisors, experts, and coaches for opportunities to network, share best-practices and find a true collaborative environment to grow and succeed.”

“We’re laser focused on re-defining what it means to be an independent broker-dealer in 2023,” said Rippberger. “The new model for the industry is to provide a richer experience, with tailored solutions so that advisors’ opportunities for career expansion and growth are readily available.”

Affiliated Advisors is known for its diversity, with women making up 90% of the firm, 2/3rds of the managing directors, and has a management team that spans three-generational demographics. Additionally, the firm has won multiple awards for business excellence, most recently InvestmentNews first “Ascension Award” for industry leadership and diversity.

“This is a fantastic time to be in the business of supporting advisors, and I am thrilled at how far we’ve come and grown through the years,” said Robbins. “We look forward to the next chapter for Affiliated Advisors and are excited to launch our new brand identity.”
